Antique Ornate French Limoges Cabinet Plate Circa 1894 Ballerina. Plate measures 9 1/2” and has heavy gold embossed rim with Fleur de Lis as part of the design. The Limoges mark is not all there but this came from a set of cabinet plates marked Barny & Rigoni which opened in 1894 before adding other partners to the business. The artist signature is Armanto and the plate has a hand painted French ballerina or maybe a cancan girl dressed in yellow & orange. This plate is in beautiful condition especially the heavy gold embossing for a piece 125 years old. There is a little paint loss in the dark burgundy color on g the left part of the plate as shown in photo. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
